AmeriHealth announces 2024 Medicare Advantage plans

All plans include robust set of benefits and broad access to care

Cranbury, NJ — October 1, 2023  AmeriHealth today announces its 2024 Medicare Advantage plans, which feature robust benefits to fit all members’ needs. Three of the four plans being offered have zero-dollar monthly premiums and all include dental, vision, hearing, and drug coverage. Members signing up for an AmeriHealth Medicare Advantage plan will also have broad access to care, with a provider network spanning 21 New Jersey counties, five Philadelphia counties and 44,000 providers and 75 hospitals.

AmeriHealth is ready to help those on Medicare sign up for plans during this year’s Annual Enrollment Period, which takes place October 15 through December 7. For 2024, the company is offering four plans to members living in seven counties (Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer, Middlesex, and Ocean). The plans include AmeriHealth Medicare Secure PPO, AmeriHealth Medicare Ultimate PPO, AmeriHealth Medicare Enhanced PPO, and AmeriHealth Medicare Core PPO. Plan features include the following:

  • Prescription coverage on all plans
  • Dental, vision, and hearing coverage on all plans
  • Zero-dollar premiums on most plans
  • Transportation and meals on some plans
  • Routine podiatry, chiropractor services, and acupuncture on all plans
  • Part B premium giveback on some plans

The giveback is set up by Medicare and administered through the Social Security Administration (SSA). The giveback incentive only participates with Social Security and is credited monthly on your Social Security check or Medicare Part B premium statement. There are no direct payments made to beneficiaries by AmeriHealth. Beneficiaries who pay their own Part B premium are eligible for the Giveback. Meaning, beneficiaries cannot receive Medicaid or any other assistance from a health program that could potentially pay their Part B premium.

AmeriHealth offers PPO Medicare Advantage plans with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in AmeriHealth PPO Medicare Advantage plans depends on contract renewal.
