AmeriHealth to offer those who qualify for Medicare in New Jersey more options for health care plans in October

Cranbury, NJ, July 10, 2023 – This fall, AmeriHealth will be offering those who qualify for Medicare in New Jersey more options for health care coverage. For nearly 30 years, AmeriHealth has been committed to providing affordable health plans that keep members healthy and help members thrive.

“Our priority is ensuring our communities have access to care, and by expanding our Medicare offerings, we are continuing to do just that,” said Mike Munoz, market president of AmeriHealth.

To support the expansion, AmeriHealth has appointed a new Director of Medicare Sales. Sam Abuella, who is taking on the new role, is a leader in sales and has more than 20 years of experience in the health insurance marketplace. He will lead AmeriHealth’s efforts and strategic initiatives in the development, implementation and active monitoring of sales and retention strategies for the Medicare segment.

“We are excited to welcome Sam Abuella to our team,” said Munoz. “He will play an integral role in supporting our efforts to expand our footprint in the Medicare market. His decades of experience will be an asset to our members as we support their health and well-being through every stage of life”.
