These 13 Exclusive Provider Organization plans (EPO) include Bronze, Silver and Gold metallic tiers, and a catastrophic option. The AmeriHealth Advantage Suite of products has been the company’s most popular plan option, providing members with access to high-quality care with a lower monthly premium, as well as the lowest out-of-pocket costs when Tier 1 doctors and hospitals are used. New Jersey operates on a state-based exchange, Get Covered New Jersey, which serves as the state’s official health insurance marketplace. New Jersey residents are required to have health care coverage, and consumers who purchase or renew a health plan through Get Covered New Jersey may be eligible for a state-based subsidy, in addition to the existing federal subsidy. Nine out of 10 New Jersey residents enrolling in coverage through GetCovered.NJ.gov are eligible to receive increased financial help to reduce their insurance premiums, and many can find coverage for $10 a month or less
New for 2025, AmeriHealth Dental
For 2025 AmeriHealth announces the launch of the new AmeriHealth Dental. The company developed a new portfolio of dental plans with low out-of-pocket expenses, discounts on dental services, and affordable monthly premiums.
“We are always looking for opportunities to innovate and strengthen our benefits. We know our members want a fully integrated medical and dental plan, and this was the next step,” explained Munoz.
Members will have the same benefits they have today and access to a large network of dental providers. Consumers can purchase dental plans by purchasing a health plan directly from AmeriHealth.
Off-exchange plans provide New Jersey residents with additional options
New Jersey residents can also purchase a health plan off-exchange, directly from AmeriHealth. AmeriHealth offers two plans off-exchange within our Select Suite that provides a ten percent savings compared to similar on-exchange plans. The AmeriHealth off-exchange Select Suite of plans are amongst the most affordable options in the Silver tier. Off-exchange health plans are not subsidy eligible.
In order to receive ID cards by January 1, 2025, individuals should make health plan selections, whether on or off-exchange, by November 30, 2024. All new and current AmeriHealth members will receive ID cards.

Open enrollment ends. This is the last day to enroll for coverage through AmeriHealth, for a February 1, 2025 effective date.
