Cranbury, NJ — April 9, 2026 — Mike Munoz, senior vice president and president of Diversified Markets, has been named a 2026 NJBIZ ICON Award honoree, recognizing his sustained leadership and long‑standing impact on New Jersey’s health care and business communities.
The NJBIZ Icon Awards honor distinguished business leaders aged 60 and older who have demonstrated professional excellence and meaningful contributions to the state’s economy and communities throughout their careers. Munoz will be honored alongside fellow recipients at the 2026 NJBIZ Icon Awards ceremony on May 19, 2026.
Munoz, whose health care expertise spans decades, has built a career focused on advancing access to affordable, high‑quality care across New Jersey. Internally, Munoz has made associate engagement a top priority—fostering a positive, collaborative culture and prioritizing talent development to ensure AmeriHealth continues to deliver the highest level of service to its members and partners.
Beyond his role at AmeriHealth, Munoz is deeply committed to community service. He serves on the board of the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce, Camden Community Partnership, Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey, and United Way of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey, and actively supports charitable organizations across the state. Over the course of his career, he has received numerous honors, including NJBIZ Healthcare Hero, ROI‑NJ Influencers Power List, and the New Jersey Governor’s Volunteerism Award.
