Cranbury, NJ – August 28, 2025 – Veronica Diaz, Director of Consumer Markets and Sales Support at AmeriHealth, has been named a 2025 NJBIZ Executive Excellence Award recipient. The inaugural awards program celebrates senior-level executives who consistently demonstrate remarkable leadership, integrity, vision and an unwavering commitment to excellence, company performance and community service.
In her current role at AmeriHealth, Diaz oversees the ACA Consumer Market, sales strategy and product development across all market segments, ensuring a seamless experience for members, customers and brokers. Notably, Diaz played a critical role in positioning AmeriHealth on New Jersey’s Individual Marketplace at the onset of the Affordable Care Act. Throughout her decade-plus tenure at the company, she has served in a variety of leadership positions, including Manager of Consumer Markets and Manager of Sales Enablement.
While at AmeriHealth, Diaz had previously spearheaded community outreach initiatives, connecting licensed representatives with local events to offer in-person support and resources. A dedicated advocate for inclusivity and belonging, Diaz is also a member of AmeriHealth REACH, an Associate Resource Group, where she develops programs and plans events that seek to engage diverse employees.
Committed to continually growing and evolving as a leader, Diaz was recently accepted into the AHIP Executive Leadership Program and completed the KPMG Executive Leadership Institute for Women. Her work and impact has earned notable recognition, including being named to South Jersey Biz’s “20 Under 40” in 2019 and NJBIZ’s “Forty Under Forty” in 2018.
Beyond her professional achievements, Diaz is deeply committed to making a difference in her community. She proudly volunteers her time at Moms Helping Moms, a nonprofit dedicated to providing household essentials to moms and families in need.
Diaz will be honored as a 2025 NJBIZ Executive Excellence Award recipient alongside nearly 60 other leaders who are shaping New Jersey’s business landscape at a ceremony on October 14, 2025, at The Palace in Somerset, NJ. The honorees will also be featured in a special edition of NJBIZ.
