

As Director of Provider Service Support and Strategy, Robert Puglisi supports executive operational and strategic direction for AmeriHealth and AmeriHealth Administrators. He leads provider priorities and strategy initiatives.
Puglisi works closely with the executive leadership teams on network redesign and expansion activities. He plays a key role in resolving critical provider issues including provider operations and contracting, population health and medical cost trends. He is responsible for network performance and strategy, network management, design and function, health care value optimization, medical cost trend monitoring and performance metrics.
Since he joined the company in 2014, Puglisi has also served as Director of Network Services. In that role he directed all aspects of the company’s network service operations and oversaw maintenance and growth of its provider network. He also facilitated the resolution of complex provider issues.
Prior to joining AmeriHealth, Puglisi was Director of Physician Contracting and Compensation for Saint Peter’s Healthcare System in New Brunswick, where he negotiated group contracts for all employed physicians tied to the multi-specialty practices at Saint Peter’s University Hospital and Saint Peter’s Healthcare System and converted physician salaries to productivity-based incentive compensation plans.
Puglisi has been a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) for more than 15 years. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from The College of New Jersey with a B.A. in political science and holds an M.A. in history from Monmouth University.
